Roots of the Dance
The ageless art of Belly Dance is a great way to strengthen, tone, increase flexibility, burn calories and energize your body. Belly dancing is a valid form of exercise and a respected form of dance for women of all ages, all body types. No dance experience needed. Belly dance can be traced back over 6000 years to Early Mesopotamia. This is a woman’s dance. Danced by women for women to pass along the ancient knowledge of strengthening movements of the pelvis and abdomen that would help younger women condition and prepare for their bodies the riggers of childbirth.
